If I Don’t Have You, Nobody Will” — Ex-Boyfriend Allegedly Murders Interior Designer Deborah Moses in Lagos

A young interior designer, Deborah Moses, popularly called Deb’rah Porsche, has sadly lost her life in Lagos after she was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend, known as Lintex.

The incident happened on Wednesday night inside the estate where she lived. Reports say the suspect disguised himself as a delivery rider to gain access. When security questioned him, he allegedly jumped over the fence to enter the compound.

It was gathered that he first tried to cut the cooking gas pipe outside her house to cause an explosion. When that failed, he forced his way into her apartment and stabbed her several times. Neighbours rushed in, but it was too late to save her.

Family sources said Deborah ended the relationship over a year ago, but the suspect refused to let go. He had reportedly been threatening her, saying things like, “If I don’t have you, nobody will.”

Deborah had just completed her NYSC service and was focused on building her career before the tragedy. Her sister described her as a hardworking and peaceful young woman.

Neighbours later overpowered the suspect and handed him to the police. He is now in custody while investigations continue.

Family members and rights groups are demanding justice and calling on the authorities not to let the matter be swept under the carpet.
